Edison and the Detroit House Collective have been entertaining crowds and influencing the Detroit underground house scene with their signature style and grooves for the last decade. What started out as a group of DJs who shared their love of house music while playing at small bars throughout the city has quickly grown to become a staple in the rapidly emerging new school house scene in the Motor City. Influenced by the techno pioneers who put Detroit on the worldwide radar, they have taken those influences and infused them with the soulful sounds of 70's disco, 80's pop and current hip hop. In doing so they have forged a solid sound that is very reminiscent of the 90's renaissance of house that helped put house music back in the mainstream consciousness.
